With over 25 years of experience, David DeWitt has been in the generator industry since 1999. This includes 14 years in several essential positions at Taylor Power Systems. Today, David is the Regional Sales Manager for Taylor Power, covering the state of Mississippi. David is married to his wife (Stacey) with two daughters (Tyler and Gabrielle) and one granddaughter (Morgan). In his free time, David enjoys spending time with his wife, golfing, fishing, and attending church. He is very involved at Park Place Baptist Church, where he teaches Sunday school and volunteers with the children’s ministry and adult choir. David is also a two-time Cancer survivor. He was diagnosed in 2021 with Kidney and Prostate Cancer, but has been free of cancer for three years. This has helped David realize what is most important in life. With his relationship and guidance from Jesus Christ, anything can be achieved in both his professional and personal life.

President's Report

Dear CSI Mississippi Members,

As we close out another year together, I would like to thank everyone for their knowledge, generosity, and hard work that defines the Mississippi Chapter of CSI.

From the product show to our monthly programs, golf tournament, volunteer day and much more, it all happened because of you. Our members continue to show up and put a huge effort into making our chapter exceptional.

To our board and committee leaders: thank you for countless hours behind the scenes. Your dedication ensures that our chapter remains as a resource to those in the construction industry.   Also, by supporting one another through challenges this year you prove that our chapter is a network of people who care.

To our sponsors: your support strengthens our mission and expands what we’re able to offer.  We are grateful for your investment in our work and in the future of Mississippi CSI.

To our new members: you bring fresh energy and new perspectives that push us forward. We’re excited to continue building pathways for your success.

As we look forward to the new year, we have exciting opportunities ahead, and I know we will meet them with the same dedication and heart that carried us through this year.

Thank you for making 2025 a great year. I am honored to serve alongside you, and I look forward to all we will accomplish together in the year ahead.

Wishing you a joyful holiday season and new year!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,

Cassie Parker, CSI, CDT, CCCA
